My first
blogpost, yay! I'm really excited and also a bit scared. I'd like to say that
I'm not a professional and these are my opinions. In this blogpost I'll talk
about my hair and how I take care of it. have fun reading it.
Okay, girls
with curly hair will know what I mean, but curly hair can be really hard to
style and to keep in that exact style through the day. I'm one of those girl and
when I say curls I mean hair that has volume, small curls and frizz. Hard to
tame and always poofy on rainy days. I have hated my hair for years
and it's still hard for me too style my hair natural. My hair has been damaged
and cut in wrong hairstyle, but I'm still alive. Only a year ago I used wrong
shampoo, not enough conditioner and too much heat. But one day my hairdresser
made me aware that I had to stop, my hair could fall out if I continued. This
what I do and how I handle my curly hair.
Also I like
to say, I like to change my hair routine, so maybe next month this is
completely different. The routine I have right now, I've had since 4 moths and
I'm quite satisfied by it.
I wash my
hair 3 to 4 times a week. This means every 2 days. Washing your hair too much
can cause damage to your hair. Not as much as heat, but it's also important for
healthy hair. I wash my hair with shampoo and conditioner from Franck Provost
(I'm not sure it's available in the US). They come in very big packaging (750
ml) and last forever. I use the Expert Protection 230°, it is supposed to
repair and protect your hair when you use heat and have heat damage. I find my
hair a lot healthier and although it's still not 100% perfect, it looks good
and shiny.
When I step
out of the shower, I wrap my hair in a towel en let it dry for a couple of
minutes. Then I take it out and use a hair oil from L'Oreal and a heat protecting
cream from Schwarzkopf (Osis+ softn'straight- medium control) that I bought from my hairdresser. Then comb it
through once and let it air-dry. I try not to touch it too much. When I'm in a
hurry (which is almost never since I always shower in the evening) I will blow
dry my hair with a diffuser.
When I wake
up, I apply the heat protecting spray from Franck Provost (Expert Protection
230°) and straight my hair mostly, when I'm feeling brave I will leave my hair
natural. I would say which straightening iron I'm using, but I'm currently
searching for another one, so I'll do a post about that later.
Hope you
liked it,
