Things To Do In The Winter

The winter is coming and with the winter, Christmas, New Year and some new promises. But while counting down, you maybe want to do something more. For people with a hobby or sport they practise, it easy. But even those people get bored a little while sitting inside. I've been thinking about a couple things you can do during the cold winterdays. Get crafty or go outside, your choice!

Go Iceskating
I thought I would start with one of my favourite things to do in the winter: ice skating. Go with some friends and make sure your dressed up warm enough. My favourite outfit: a jegging with some thights under it, a nice longsleeved T-shirt, a sweater and a thick coat. Then I take the coziest socks I own and put them above my thights and (ofcourse) under my skates (I rent btw, I don't own skates). Perfect for a date, hanging out with some friends or accidently bumping into the one. Also, it's healthy and you're outside to keep your parents happy.

Knit
Sounds boring, but it's not! Just knit, it doesn't need to be 'something'. If you actually can knit, knit a scarve or some warm socks for your ice skating trip. Also your bussy for an hour or 2 picking wool and needles and while you're in town, you can also do a little shopping.

Memory Box
Make a memory box with all the memories from the past year. Get some old pictures from facebook or Instagram, Print them out and put them in a box or an album. In that box you can also put some tickets from stuff you've been to. And while your getting emotional anyway, put on some music (not the heavy metal). Also think about any plans you've made for the coming year and even make some plans with friends you haven't seen for a long time.

Shopping
This may look easy to come up with, but pick a date and invide some friends with you or take your mom or sister. And while your shopping, go to lush or any other store that will have some nice presents for Christmas, because it's coming closer and you don't want to come up with some last minute christmas ideas.

Snowball fight!
Invide friends or go together to a park. Let them take some friends as well because the more the marrier (definatly when it comes to snowball fights). You don't like the cold? Put on some extra clothes and go somewhere near a tea room where you can drink hot chocolate. Divide in groups or just throw snowballs to each other and enjoy!

Long Bubble bath
Ofcourse, you can't go one winter without doing this! Purchase a bathbomb that will add a lot of bubbles in your bath, light some candles, put on relaxing music and enjoy the warmth in these cold times.

Visit a holiday fair
Go to a holiday fair to just stroll around. the ambiance is amazing and you'll have a christmas mood after visiting. Don't forget to take money so you can buy stuff you like, 'cause I think there's always something cute on a holiday fair and maybe you can get a present for a friend.

Lots Of Love,
Me
