So, I thought I'd do a Wednesday post (and try to keep
that up as well) which is a bit more casual and maybe about things I've already
purchased a while ago, but I never really talked about. Such as the Babylips!
If you don't know what Babylips are, these are basically lip balms by
Maybelline that suppose to be very nice and hydrating while some of them also
have a hint of colour to it. I've got all the Babylips available in Europe (I
think, let me know if this isn't the case) and I wanted to talk you through the
ones I like and the ones I'm less of a fan off.
Let's start with the coloured Babylips, which are the
ones I actually prefer because they hydrate while giving your lips a wash of
colour. Also, Pink Punch (the pink one) is the first one I even got. I love the
scent of it, but I can't really describe it. Maybe a bit like... Punch or
passion fruit. It is my favourite scent out of all the Babylips. It's also the
one that will give you the most colour out of all the Babylips, so be careful
if you only want a tiny bit of colour. It feels nice on the lips, though and it
really hydrates your lips. Cherry me was the next one I tried. It's a nice dark
pink-red which gives only a bit of colour and in my opinion looks good on
everyone. However, I find that this is the one that does the least for your lip
condition as it's not as creamy as the others. Peach Kiss, which is the last
coloured lip balm I tried, is a very nude brown-pink that's also a bit more
sheer when it comes to colour. It's also not as creamy as the Pink Punch one,
but I find it does a better job at moisturizing your lips.

Onto the colourless Babylips. These are, logically,
the ones I use less on a daily base. I know there will be a lot of people who
like these a lot more, simply because they don't have any colour. So for you:
Hydrate is the one I will only use if I've got nothing else, because it has a
very strong fresh scent (which is lemon basil). I like the texture though and
it does a ok job at hydrating, but it's scent is just something I can't have.
Mint Fresh, again, has a very strong scent, but this time it's (you guessed it)
mint. This is the perfect lip balm if you are into the mint fresh scent all day
long. For me, however this is the one I'll use when I have a cold or in the
morning, after I brushed my teeth. But, a very nice texture which is rather creamy.
The last one for today, is the one I'll always have in my purse, simple because
it has a very nice almond scent to it and I absolutely love the texture of the
lip balm. It's hydrating and it stays on quite long.

So overall I'm quite happy about all my Babylips and most of them do the job just nice for a very nice price (£2.99 I believe). Please tell me if you've got a different opinion or if you're equally as convinced as me.
Lots Of Love,
xxxx
